About
--------------------------------------
Glinny's Great Balls of Fire is a platformer-rpg where you play as the titular Glinny on a quest to once again stop Cahrsurraurher from doing his evil deeds. Along the way you will discover new spells, fight a variety of enemies, meet unique people, and defeat massive bosses.
The design and look of the game was heavily influenced by Zelda 2 on NES. The combat is pretty nuanced, so experiment! If you can't seem to beat a certain enemy or area, try using your spells in different ways.

Ingredients
--------------------------------------
Ingredients taken from Glinny's recipe:
- You have a 1% chance to not be able to double jump
- Spells that inflict status effects virtually never work on bosses
- First waterfall has a secret cave, following 23 do not
- Instant death from the SIDE of a spike. Not the dangerous points, the side.
- Every loading screen is a bright blank white screen
- Final boss is character first introduced directly prior to the final boss fight
- Game has a hunger meter, when hungry a loud grumbling sound will play. This sound can drown out important dialogue and sounds
- No buildings can be entered, anytime you attempt to enter one your character says “It’s not the right time for that”
- The game’s soundtrack is written by Nobuo Uematsu, but performed by 4th graders on recorders.
- Every town has a mandatory Bad Anime Hot Spring scene.
- SLOGAN: Get ready to explode your balls into a firestorm of dust and skeletons.
Bonus Ingredient:
- Resource upgrades (HP, MP, etc.) don't refill their respective resource when obtained.

- There is a moment in the final cutscene in which you are able to move around, if you move too far to the right you will get locked out of the boss fight and have to restart the game.

Just unzip the folder and run the exe. The game is built to run at a specific resolution, so if you change the size of the window or try to play in fullscreen there will probably be issues.

It was fun! Only at the end I used time stop and was to the right of Gloony before she cast her barrier. Then Glinny wasn't on screen when the fight started and I had to quit.
What an unfortunate bug you've found! The game saves your progress though, so it should be easy for you to restart the game and continue from the castle.
